Aniesha K. Mitchell, Director
Ms. Mitchell joined the University of Mississippi on December 9, 2013. She comes to the University of Mississippi from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, where she served as a Program Manager for Formal Conflict Resolution.
Ms. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Oakland University, and a law degree from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. Although she is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan and the United States District Court in the Eastern District of Michigan, Ms. Mitchell has dedicated her career to supporting and teaching students in higher education. She has over a decade of experience in higher education in the areas of enrollment management, retention, conflict resolution, student conduct, and instruction.
Derrick D. Dixon, Coordinator
Mr. Dixon joined the University of Mississippi on August 1, 2013. He comes to the University of Mississippi from Arkansas State University where he served as the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Conduct. In this position he gained extensive experience in Conflict Resolution as well as experience training Hall Directors, Student Conduct Board members, Resident Advisers and various other members of the ASU community in the area of Student Conduct. While at Arkansas State University Derrick also earned his Masters in Sports Administration and is currently completing the final stages of his Specialist in Community College Teaching (Emphasis in Higher Education Administration).
Although Derrick comes to the University of Mississippi from ASU he is however a native Mississippian, growing up in the small community of Camden Ms. He received his Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University. Derrick is very excited to have the opportunity to return home and serve as the Coordinator of Student Conduct for the University of Mississippi
Claire Lowe, Administrative Professional
Claire Lowe, joined the University of Mississippi family in 2005, working in the Offices of Food Service Management, Enrolment Services, and the Office of the Dean of Students before beginning her career with the Office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct. Claire has a passion for working with students and helping them achieve their goals even through the obstacles that college life sometimes brings. She is committed to keeping The University of Mississippi a family friendly place while continuing its long-standing traditions, and remains dedicated to embracing the new and exciting changes that occur.
Married to Jody Lowe, the Associate Director of Admissions, they have two daughters, Madi Kate and Mary Hollis. As an Oxford native, who literally grew up across the street from the campus, she has enjoyed the traditions of The University of Mississippi life for many years. Claire is currently pursuing a Bachelor of General Studies Degree and presently serves on the Student Affairs Professional Development Committee.
Roz Sabella, Graduate Assistant
Roz is the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct. She received her Bachelors of Art degree in Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. While at Belhaven, Roz was a 4 year letter winner of the Volleyball team, Peer Leader, member of the Belhaven Leadership Council, Belhaven Activities Team, White Columns Yearbook staff, and Homecoming Court.
Upon graduation in 2008, Roz began working for Belhaven University as a Athletics Recruiter and then transitioned to the Office of Admission as an Admission Counselor.
Roz is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts degree in Higher Education Student Personnel at the University of Mississippi.
