University Judicial Council
The University of Mississippi Judicial Council is advised by The Office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct and chaired by an elected member of the student body. The position of Student Judicial Chair is elected through the University’s annual Associated Student Body (ASB) campus-wide elections. The Council has representation from students, faculty, and staff.
The University Judicial Council hears and decides cases involving alleged individual or organizational violations of University policy and any other case assigned to it by The Office of Conflict Resolution and Student conduct.
Interested in being a member of the University Judicial Council?
Each spring the ASB conducts a selection process for student membership in the University Judicial Council. Watch for advertisements in the Daily Mississippian (DM) and information on UM Today. You will be required to fill out an application and complete an interview process. Applications will also be available on this website.
